Minted nothing, promised everything. The Pantsir-S1 promised to defend the skies. It delivered a false sense of security. The drone swarm minted a tactical reality — cheap, disposable, lethal. The ledger keeps score, and the score is not even close.

Code is truth. Intent is fiction. The code of the Pantsir's fire control logic was well-intentioned but inadequate. The intents of its operators were brave but irrelevant. The only truth that matters is the outcome: a smoldering wreck in Crimea and a new chapter in the book of asymmetric warfare.
